Interview
What makes you different?
My multicultural background as a Franco-Brazilian athlete and my experience competing at both national and international levels have shaped me into a disciplined and versatile individual. Diving requires precision, mental focus, and physical control, and I have consistently demonstrated these qualities under the pressure of high-stakes competitions. Additionally, I excel academically, showing the same dedication to my studies as I do to my sport. This balance of athletic achievement, cultural diversity, and academic commitment makes me a unique and well-rounded student-athlete.
Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?
The U.S. college system offers the perfect combination of elite sports programs and high-quality academics, making it an ideal environment for me to continue my growth as a diver and a student. The access to world-class coaches, facilities, and a competitive collegiate diving circuit is unparalleled. At the same time, the U.S. system allows me to pursue my academic interests while representing my university in my sport. This balance is crucial for me, as it enables me to achieve my potential in both arenas, preparing me for a successful future.
Diving and Life goals
My short-term goal is to join a collegiate diving program where I can further develop my skills and compete at the highest level while pursuing a degree that aligns with my academic interests: geopolitics. I am passionate about challenging myself and striving for excellence in all that I do. In the long term, I aspire to represent my sport and culture on a global stage, possibly competing at events such as the World Championships or the Olympics. Academically, I aim to prepare for a career where I can contribute meaningfully, such as geopolitics, always carrying the discipline and focus that diving has taught me.
Anything else we should know
I have dual nationality, I speak Portuguese, French and English.
