Interview
What makes you different?
As a midfielder, I bring a combination of tactical intelligence, stamina, and vision to the game, enabling me to control the flow of play and adapt to various match situations. Playing soccer at the regional level has taught me resilience and teamwork, which I also apply to my academic pursuits. My passion for problem-solving and innovation drives my interest in engineering, and I have developed excellent time-management skills to balance the demands of soccer and rigorous studies. This unique blend of athletic and academic dedication sets me apart as a well-rounded individual ready to excel in the U.S. collegiate system.
Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?
The U.S. college system offers a unique opportunity to combine high-level soccer with outstanding academic programs, making it an ideal environment for me to thrive. As someone who is passionate about both my sport and engineering, I am excited to be part of a system that values student-athletes and provides the support to excel in both areas. The chance to compete at a higher level while pursuing engineering studies will challenge me to grow as a player and as a future professional, equipping me with the skills and experiences to achieve my goals.
Soccer and Life goals
My short-term goal is to join a collegiate soccer program where I can continue to develop as a midfielder, contribute to my team’s success, and pursue a degree in engineering. I am determined to refine my skills on the field while excelling academically in a program that prepares me for a career in engineering. Long term, I aspire to combine my passion for problem-solving and innovation to create meaningful contributions in my field, while staying connected to soccer either as a player or in a leadership role. My ultimate goal is to excel both athletically and professionally, embodying the discipline and teamwork I’ve learned through my sport.
