Interview
What makes you different?
I’m an easy-going young man, interested in others, and with rather strong friendships. I’m not selfish at all, which is appreciated from my friends and partners, both to work in groups and provide goal assists. I’m also adaptable, as I had to change several time of soccer team and school due to my family moving here and there in Europe (Paris, Brussels, Lyon – France & Belgium).
Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?
Football (soccer) is my passion, and I want to combine both soccer and studies. In the various teams I played in, the mood wasn’t always great, with players from different schools and diverted interests. Besides, my few high school experiences where I played some tournaments with my school partners were enjoyable: I did probably play my best games, and we had great mood playing together between 2 classes. Therefore, I look forward playing with fellow students representing my college and sharing same interests.
College goals
I’m interested in science and would like to obtain a strong diploma in that area, once I’ll have found the best fit within Science, after first generic degrees. Having a US diploma and become completely bilingual would allow me to start a professional career, while still competing in soccer at high level.
Soccer and Life goals
Pathway for being a professional player is long and hard, and I still believe I can achieve it. Since I’m a little boy, I enjoy playing soccer and dream about becoming professional. Whilst keep on dreaming, it’s important to me to master my life and therefore graduate in science from a good university, allowing me to find a job in a domain I like, either after graduating… or after a soccer professional career !
Additional information
Very good skills in various sports : cross (2nd place in Brussels’ competition in 2016), best VMA/MAS (Maximum Aerobic Speed) of my team in 2024, competition ski level, ranked in tennis (30/1 FR 3.0 in USA).
Open to travel and live abroad: born in France, lived 9 years in Belgium, studied German and followed bilingual classes.
Obtained my brevet at Lycée Français de Bruxelles, Belgium, german international section, with highest distinction in 2022.
