Interview
What makes you different?
My experience as a flanker in France’s Federal 1 division has taught me the importance of hard work, resilience, and strategic thinking. Playing in such a physically demanding position requires strength, speed, and tactical awareness, and I excel in reading the game, making key tackles, and supporting both the attack and defense. What sets me apart is my relentless work ethic on and off the field, and my ability to adapt to different game situations. I also bring strong leadership skills, gained through years of competitive rugby, and a passion for continuous improvement, whether in sports or academics.
Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?
Pursuing an MBA in the U.S. will allow me to combine my passion for rugby with a world-class education in business. The U.S. offers a unique environment where I can develop both my athletic abilities and academic knowledge, particularly in the field of business management. The competitive nature of U.S. college sports will push me to perform at my highest level as a rugby player, while the rigorous MBA programs will help me build the skills necessary for a successful career after rugby. I believe the combination of sports and academics in the U.S. system is unmatched, and I’m excited about the opportunity to challenge myself in both areas.
Rugby and Life goals
My immediate goal is to continue competing at a high level in rugby while pursuing my MBA in the U.S. I aim to bring the skills I’ve developed as a flanker—discipline, teamwork, and strategic thinking—into both my studies and on the rugby field. In the long term, I aspire to take my rugby career as far as possible, ideally playing at a professional level, while also preparing for a successful transition into the business world. With an MBA, I hope to eventually pursue a leadership role in sports management or business, where I can apply the lessons I’ve learned from rugby to make a positive impact in both industries.
