What makes you different?

My experience competing at the Elite level with the Neptunes de Nantes as a middle blocker, combined with my academic excellence, sets me apart. I have developed strong blocking, quick reflexes, and the ability to read the game well from the central position. However, I also have the versatility and ambition to transition to playing as a right-side or outside hitter, which would allow me to use my attacking skills and adaptability even more. My multicultural background, being both French and Bulgarian, gives me a unique perspective, and my dedication to academics, particularly in the field of engineering, reflects my ability to manage both high-level athletics and rigorous studies.

Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?

The U.S. college system offers a perfect environment for me to pursue both my athletic and academic goals. On the volleyball side, it will give me the opportunity to transition into a new position as a right-side or outside hitter, where I can face strong competition and further develop my skills. I am excited by the level of volleyball in the U.S. and the chance to work with excellent coaches and teammates. Academically, the flexibility and high standard of engineering programs in the U.S. will allow me to pursue my passion for engineering while continuing to play at a competitive level. The balance between top-tier academics and sports is exactly what I’m looking for.

Volleyball and Life goals

My immediate goal is to continue improving as a volleyball player by transitioning to the right-side or outside hitter position in the U.S. college system, where I can contribute to my team with my experience and athleticism. At the same time, I aim to excel in my studies, particularly in engineering, which has always been a passion of mine. Long term, I want to explore opportunities to play volleyball professionally, but I also see myself building a career in the engineering field. My strong academic background, combined with the skills and discipline I’ve developed through volleyball, will help me succeed in both my athletic and professional future.
