Interview

What makes you different?

As a sprinter specializing in the 200m and 400m, my combination of speed, endurance, and tactical race execution sets me apart. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to pace myself and strategically manage these races, which allows me to consistently perform at a high level. My relentless work ethic, commitment to training, and mental toughness enable me to push through challenging moments and achieve personal bests. Additionally, my academic background and dedication to excelling both on the track and in the classroom give me a well-rounded perspective that contributes to my success as an athlete.

Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?

With my bachelor’s degree nearly complete, I am eager to continue my academic and athletic journey in the U.S. college system by pursuing a master’s degree. The U.S. offers some of the best training environments and coaching expertise, which are essential for me as I aim to further refine my abilities in the 200m and 400m. The competitive collegiate track and field scene in the U.S. provides the perfect platform to challenge myself against top-tier athletes while also advancing my education. I believe that continuing my studies in the U.S. will give me the opportunity to grow both as an athlete and as a scholar, preparing me for future success on and off the track.

Track and Life goals

My immediate goal is to continue improving my performance in the 200m and 400m events while pursuing a master’s degree in the U.S. I am committed to balancing my athletic training with academic excellence, as I understand the importance of preparing for life beyond sports. In the long term, I aspire to compete at the highest levels of track and field, including international competitions and possibly the Olympics. At the same time, I aim to leverage my academic achievements and the skills I’ve developed as an athlete—such as discipline, perseverance, and strategic thinking—to build a successful career, whether in sports management, coaching, or another field that aligns with my passions.
