Interview

What makes you different?

As a setter, my ability to read the game and make split-second decisions sets me apart. I have honed my skills in setting through countless hours of practice, ensuring precise and consistent delivery to my hitters. What truly distinguishes me is my keen understanding of my teammates’ strengths and preferences. I excel in creating scoring opportunities by exploiting the opponent’s weaknesses and effectively distributing the ball to maximize our offensive potential. Additionally, my leadership on the court, vocal communication, and calm demeanor under pressure inspire confidence in my teammates, elevating the performance of the entire team.

Why do you want to play in the U.S college system?

Playing in the U.S. college system offers me the opportunity to further develop my skills as a setter at a competitive level while pursuing a quality education. The collegiate volleyball environment in the U.S. is renowned for its intensity, which will push me to continuously elevate my game. I am eager to train under experienced coaches who can provide valuable insights and guidance to help me reach my full potential. Moreover, the chance to compete against top-tier teams and players will not only enhance my skills but also expose me to diverse playing styles, contributing to my growth as a setter. Beyond volleyball, the U.S. college system provides a platform for academic and personal growth, offering a comprehensive support system to help me succeed both on and off the court.

Volleyball and Life goals

My goal as a setter extends beyond the volleyball court; it encompasses personal and academic aspirations as well. While I am dedicated to excelling in collegiate volleyball and contributing to my team’s success, I also aim to pursue a degree in Business that aligns with my interests and career goals. As a setter, I have developed invaluable skills such as leadership, communication, and adaptability, which I intend to leverage in my academic pursuits and future career endeavors. Whether I continue my volleyball journey at the professional level, transition into coaching, or explore other avenues, I am committed to applying the lessons learned from volleyball to excel in all facets of my life.
